Ruggard RC-FC714 Overview

Protect your camera from the rain, dust and mud with the easy-to use, lightweight, Small, 14", Fabric Rain Shield from Ruggard. This rain shield offers full access to your camera's controls and viewfinder and is designed to accommodate a DSLR with lens up to 12" long and up to 8" in diameter.

Tighten the front cinch cord around your lens hood for a tight, customized and secure fit. Tripod users will appreciate the touch-fastening fabric opening located underneath the shield that conforms to the tripod's shape. A rear cinch cord helps protect the back of the camera from the elements depending upon the size of the camera, and is especially useful for those occasions when the camera isn't being used. Included with the shield is a zippered storage pouch with an attached belt clip. For strength and durability the shield is made of 210D ripstop nylon.

Fits over Camera and Lens
The Rain Shield is designed to fit a camera and lens combination measuring 12" from the rear of the camera body to the front of the lens. Use with a lens hood is recommended so the rain shield can offer complete protection to the front of the lens.
Water Resistant
When shooting in inclement weather, this rain shield will protect your camera and lens from rain, snow, and moisture. Water-resistant 210D ripstop nylon ensures that moisture won't reach your camera.
Adjustable Bungee Closures
The adjustable bungee closures assure a snug fit so water or moisture can't reach the camera or lens. With enough extra room, the closures can completely surround the camera and lens when not in use or when the weather is too bad to shoot.
Handheld or Tripod Use
The Rain Shield can be used during handheld shooting, or while mounted on a tripod. The convenient bottom opening is designed to fit over a tripod mount
Carry Pouch
The included carry pouch conveniently hangs from your belt or camera bag so you can take your rain shield anywhere and be prepared to use it anytime.

I have used all three sizes of the Ruggard rain shield in heavy rain and wind. I am confident that they will protect my camera and lenses.

I bought both the Ruggard small rain s=hield and the large one. I have a canon and when i use my 500mm telephoto lens only the large will work. If you only want to buy one rain shield I'd get the large as it can always be crumpled up in the middle but if you get the small it won't work with longer lenses.
