I bought both the Ruggard small rain s=hield and the large one. I have a canon and when i use my 500mm telephoto lens only the large will work. If you only want to buy one rain shield I'd get the large as it can always be crumpled up in the middle but if you get the small it won't work with longer lenses.

This one may be a bit too small, I would go with the 23" if anything.

You have the option of exposing the screen or hiding it by pulling on the the draw cord. When exposed, you can use the screen to compose the shot.
