Based on Intel's X99 chipset and retrofitted with technologies to help maximize the potential of Intel's Core i7 X-Series processors for the LGA 2011-v3 socket, the Republic of Gamers Strix X99 Gaming LGA 2011-v3 ATX Motherboard from ASUS has been created for gaming. It will fit into cases that support the ATX form factor.
The Republic of Gamers Strix X99 has eight DIMM slots that can support up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM, or 16GB per slot, with a maximum overclocked frequency of 3333 MHz.
