This mic would work well with the HyperX Quadcast USB microphone. These reference headphone are comfortable, and have excellent sound isolation. The 3.5mm connection fits into the headphone jack on the mic.

What are the internal dimensions (where the ear goes) height, width and depth in mm of the ear cups?

The inside measurements of the ear cups for the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Circumaural Closed-Back Monitor Headphones are 68 x 43mm for the height and width, excluding the cushion. This is the opening where the ear goes. The dimensions including the cushion are 105 x 84mm. The cushion is 26mm thick and the depth of the ear cup including the cushion is 45mm to the point where it connects to the hinge or 38mm without the hinge.
