I am interested in this kit but I alreaady have a 24-105mm 1:4 L Lens. Should I just get the body and mic sepreate or is the included kit lense worth it?
Asked by: Anthony
The Canon 24-105mm f/4 L lens is superb and is of a superior quality on both build and image over the kit 18-135mm. However, in the kit is a unique zoom motor that only works with the 18-135mm. This can create very smooth on-camera zoom movement, a look that usually only be created by camcorders or digital cinema lenses costing thousands. If this is a tool you wish, this would be one way to do it.
