Designed to be used with UltraLITE HUB full duplex wireless intercoms and radios, this Eartec Max4G Headset is dual-eared and features a molded connection with 3.5 and 2.5mm plugs. Its headband is fully adjustable and its leatherette earpad fully encompasses the ear, thus providing a firm yet pleasant fit. I just purchased 2 of these. I can not get the mic to work on either with the Eartec Scrambler Plus radios. Are these compatible?

No, this particular Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with Dual 3.5-2.5mm Connectors is intended for use with the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base for 1 Plug-In & up to 8 Wireless UltraLITE Headsets. It is not compatible for use with the Eartec Scrambler SC-1000 Simplex Wireless PLUS 2-Way Radio. There is a different version of the Max 4G Single Headset that is designed specifically for use with the Scrambler, which is the Eartec Headset with Max 4G Single Connector & Inline PTT for SC-1000 Radios (B&H # EASC1M4GSHIP).

No, the pin assignments are different and the headset will not work with a Motorola two-way radio.

What is the length of the cable? The description says 3" thats not possible I need like 5-6feet of length for this to be usable.

Cable is 40 inches long. Description should have been 3 feet (3') instead of 3 inches (3").

The Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with Dual 3.5-2.5mm Connectors (B&H # EAHUBMXS) can be connected directly to the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base for 1 Plug-In & up to 8 Wireless UltraLITE Headsets - USA (B&H # EAHUB) or it can be used as a wireless remote headset when connected with an Eartec UltraPAK Remote Beltpack for UltraLITE & HUB (B&H # EAULP1000). If you need an intercom system with six wireless headsets, you will need to use the Eartec HUB instead of the self-contained wireless master headset included with the all-wireless UltraLITE system. The master headset internal electronics that are similar to those in the HUB, but there are limits on how many wireless headsets that can be used with each system. The all-wireless system works with one wireless master headset and up to four wireless remote headsets while the HUB can be used with up to eight wireless remote headsets and one wired headset which connects directly to the HUB. The HUB can then be worn as a beltpack. Two HUBs can be linked together to create an expanded system for up to 16 wireless remote headsets.
