As the Nikon D810 DSLR camera uses the Nikon F-mount lens mount and the Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Sweet 50 Optic for Nikon F, B&H # LELBCP250, is designed for use on the Nikon F-mount lens mount, no other accessory is needed to connect the lens to the Nikon D810 DSLR camera. It will connect directly to the lens mount on the Nikon D810 DSLR camera.

Is this a good place to start to use Lensbaby lenses to photograph interesting close ups of flowers? I have a Nikon D7500.

I will try as best I can. I am an amateur myself here are a few suggestions. First, what your talking about is macrophotography and while Lens Baby lenses can do this type of photography from what I know they are more specialty lenses. The Composer Pro as well as other lenses by "Lens Baby" let you change the point of focus. I myself prefer to use a good macro lens One technique I plan on using is called HDR photography. Photoshop has a limited capability which I plan on experimenting with. My first results are good but depending on you budget you can get other plug ins. My own philosophy is to use high quality macro optics and then use automated focusing rails (my future plans). Art(which photography is) is matter of creativity so you have to decide what is right for you and then get the right equipment based on your budget.

is it good for architecture?

is it good for architecture?
Asked by: Jacob
The Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Sweet 50 Optic for Fuji X is a creative lens designed for portraiture or creative photography usage needs. It is not designed for accuracy such as a standard tilt-shift lens. If you are looking for the control of a standard tilt-shift lens, this would not be my recommendation, but if you are looking for a creative perspective for architecture, then it may work for your planned usage.
