The 100mm S lens is a 100mm on an SL/SL2/SL2-S. It’s an 80mm on the S models.

Since this adapter mounts medium-format glass on a full-frame body, is it also working like a focal reducer?
No, the Leica S-Adapter L for SL Camera, BH #LESADPL, will not work as a focal reducer. There is no lens element in the adapter. It is simply designed to use S glass on L-mount cameras like the Leica SL system.

what is the weight of this adapter? not package weight
Minimal; I reckon around 200g. BUT: you get a tripod shoe with it so if you are using heavy S lenses you can use that to fix camera/lens to a tripod instead of the camera socket. I never found it an issue and I use the 24mm and the 120mm S lenses on the SL a lot.
