The IndiPRO Tools 2.1mm DC to L-Series Dummy Battery Cable allows you to connect to power sources with a 2.1mm DC output, such as the SWIT S-8845 battery. The cable is unregulated and therefore shouldn't be used with sources that deliver more than 7.2 to 8.1V. It measures 20" long and features an L-Series dummy battery for compatibility with various cameras, camcorders, and other devices.

The build quality of this product is terrible. The parts feel cheaply made, and it is built with one part round cable and one part twin cable like lamp cord with a poorly closed plastic enclosure in the middle. The manufacturer couldn't be bothered to source the correct type of barrel jack cable and has obviously gone with the cheapest option. Worse than the build quality is that this is not laid out like most dummy batteries. The cable comes out of the side of the battery, not the end, so this can't be used in anything that uses an internal battery. The form factor, despite the awkward and hard to manage cable, will fit on something that has batteries slotted onto the back, but cameras and other products that put the battery inside with a door will be unable to fit this since the cable affects the profile around the end of the dummy battery.
