These 25 sheets of 8 x 10" COT 160 Paper from Bergger are designed for different printing methods, such as, platinum, palladium, cyanotype, and other alternative processes.
This is a non-sensitized, 100% cotton, bright white paper. No brighteners have been added to the paper.
The 320 weight Bergger is my go to paper. Thought I would try the 160 for some test prints because it is so much cheaper. It is still a great paper but I prefer a heavier weight paper for historical/alternative photographic processes.
I LOVE Bergger's COT papers. While I definitely love the thicker 320, I find that the 160 is perfectly adequate. It is strong, stays together well in the water, and holds the cyanotype emulsion well without needing to do additional sizing. It is also a better price than the thicker paper, and I don't see any difference in the image quality between the two. So, the COT 160 is all I use.
