Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black, 10') is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 206.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap and Flimsy. I just received the Impact 10' light stands and I am regretting taking a chance on these inexpensive and flimsy things. I realized going in I was buying cheap, lightweight stands, but I was expecting something a little better built than the knock offs on @.My Impact brand C-stands are excellent, durable, heavier duty than the Matthews stands I own. My hope would be this 10' impact stand would be comparable to the similar 10' Manfrotto, but it's not the case.I will keep them, and use them, but they'll be the last pair of stands to come out of the truck, used when I've exhausted all my sturdier stands, and I still expect they'll be broken within a year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Get What You Pay For I got these stands with a pair of Genaray LED Lights that I purchased for lighting interviewees on a short film documentary. Given the fact that I am working in a set space these stands get the job done, but I wouldn't dare take them out in the field. They are extremely light and feel flimsy, and even sandbagged, I wouldn't feel confident putting my lights on them. If you're indoors, in a controlled environment, who cares, sandbag and enjoy. They will get the job done. Just be wary of taking them outdoors and beating them about.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not all that I purchased this stand for use with my new Godox AD600PRO. My fault for not doing more research as this stand is much too light for such a heavy light. As far as using the stand, it has so much resistance from the air cushioning that it is difficult to extend each section. You really have to pull to get them to extend. Nice for retraction as the light lowers slowly. The stand came apart between section when I was trying to extend it. Luckily I got it back together fairly easily and then cranked down all the section screws to make sure it didn't happen again. All the screws were loose. Not a bad stand overall but didn't work for me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs and the right price These stands are durable, air cushioned, and lightweight. They are part of a Genaray/Impact LED light kit I needed for training videos that I produce for retailers who sell my company's products. I have a very small space in the corner of a warehouse where I must shoot these videos;I don't have a lot of room, so a small platform is essential. They seem durable enough for travel, as long as you have a case that's padded. The LED light heads I use are pretty lightweight, but I will be getting some small sandbags in case I need to raise the lights to a potentially-shaky height.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Affordable stand Got this for my Profoto B1. It does the job indoors but not sure it will hold up on my outdoor, beach locations. It is lightweight and kind of cheapy....just an okay little stand. This stand was exactly what I was expecting for the price. BH Photo had it listed in the recommended accessories when I ordered my B1 and I thought I could probably use an extra little stand so checked the box. In many ways it is kind of nice that it is lightweight and easy when packing for a location shoot. May research for the best option for my situation later. For now will have someone hold on to it while outdoors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good kit lightstand This came as a kit with a 160w/s monolight and umbrella. Fairly sturdy, can't compare with top notch professional lightstands but if you were buying it separately, it would be a good buy. I can't see it being sturdy enough for large lights and it does seem a little flimsy when extended to it's full height. It needs some weight on the feet (sandbags) it this case. The air cushioning is nothing really to write home about. I've used lightstands in the past that have really good air cushioning but they cost a lot more. All in all, a nice lightstand for home or small commercial inside use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value For Light LED Lights I use these light stands with Genaray Spectro14 LED Light Panels. The stands are well made and are air cushioned for safety. If too much weight is put on them or they're loosened without a good grip on them, the user and gear is safe from damage due to the air cushioned stands preventing objects from falling at a fast enough rate to hurt someone or damage equipment. These stands are made from a light metal and have a plastic hardware (knobs, leg attachment). They are great stands for beginners on a budget or even for professional use indoor where they won't be moved around a lot. If you travel with them, you'll probably want to be very careful with them. If you have heavy lights or travel a lot you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, these are a the best value for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price, but very light These stands are great stands for the price. I purchased them for my lowel pro lights, and I love the height and ease of use from them, but I do have 2 complaints. One is that the stands are very light... like.. VERY light.. I used them at an outdoor event and from the wind and the weight of the cord, I was concerned they would fall down... This can easily be solved with using a sandbag, which you should do in any case, but I wanted to mention it. The other complaint is that it tends to get a little flimsy when fully extended from the top bar. It isn't HORRIBLE, but it is noticable and contributed to my fear that it would topple over. Having said that, they are perfect for my needs, but if you use them VERY frequently, you may want to get some more heavy duty stands, but since I only use them to light receptions at weddings, I don't use them on a daily basis. Also, I should note that the air cushioned feature is absolutely great.
