This Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 10' and folds down to 33.5" for storage and transport. Is anyone else having a problem collapsing them? Everytime I try and put them away the air cushion feature keeps popping it back up and making it impossible to close.
We had the same problem. We used it for one shoot and could not ship it home because the adjustable bar was stuck. It no longer fit in the our shipping box. Sad.

Can this case hold 4 stands? For example adding the impact 8' light stand?
The three stands fit nicely with space to spare. An additional 8' light stand will fit. I do not think a bigger stand will fit.
