I'm getting excellent speed with this, on a basement computer with a router two floors up in my townhouse. It usually ranges between 976 M and 1.1G. That is very impressive. The only problem is the driver is a bit preliminary. When it's connected, it is solid. I've had no drops. I do find that if I reboot my desktop, however, I have to unplug/replug the adapter to make it live
