The WM-Connect from Sound Devices is a hardware accessory for the 6-Series mixer/recorder line that enables control of the mixers from the iOS Sound Devices Wingman app. It is a Bluetooth Smart USB dongle that provides wireless remote control and metadata editing of the 6-Series. The WM-Connect ships with a WM-Connect dongle, a USB-A to USB-B right angle adapter, and a USB-A to USB-B cable adapter which connects to the 6-Series USB port or a CL-12's USB keyboard port.

Hello, the WM-Connect does not work with the MixPre-3 because it doesn't need it to work with the Wingman app. The MixPre-3, 6 and 10T have built-in Bluetooth and are compatible with the Wingman app.

Will this only work with the Wingman app? Or can the Bluetooth work with other devices such as tentacle sync?
Hi Kimberley,This dongle is specifically programmed for the Wingman Application, and works with our 633, 664, or 688. It's not designed to work with 3rd party applications. Hope this helps!
