Losmandy put together this DM-14 Dovetail Plate Kit for large 14" aperture Meade OTAs to enable the use of their heavy-duty dovetail system - which is engineered for the heavy weight that apertures of that size typically have. The two included blocks are designed to match the OTA's circumference curvature with mounting holes spaced to match standard Meade spacing. The blocks easily attach to the 24" long Universal Mounting Plate, which has numerous mounting holes that will correspond to most Meade scopes. This kit comes with all the screws required to mount the blocks onto the OTA and dovetail, with the correct Meade thread sizes.
