The MD-N01 Battery Grip from Ziv is designed specifically for the Nikon D500 DSLR camera and accepts one Nikon EN-EL15 battery. With one battery in the grip and one in the camera, your shooting time is effectively doubled. The MD-N01 can also hold and utilize eight AA batteries. The Ziv AA battery holder will not work in a Ziv MD-N01 Battery Grip for Nikon D500. The grip will accept either one EN-EL15 battery or 8 AA batteries.
