Works Great , I needed a mic that had exceptional sound and clarity and I found it and works with my other non Midland HT's ..

Does not work with Midland radios

What other accessory is needed to make it work? Just plug and play or does unit require batteries

The microphone does not need any batteries, you just plug it into the radio to use it. The BR200 radio comes with a lithium battery that does need to be inserted into the radio in order to use the radio and the mic.
