Can this function and be connected to an Android smartphone's USB-C port to access an ethernet cable's broadband internet connection?. The smartphone is Android OS and not WIndows 10 which I know would work on my desktop PC.
Some phones have the drivers needed. Some don't. If your phone happens to have the drivers. It would work. But you would need turn off your Wi-Fi or possibly need to put your phone in Airplane mode.
