Don't use with FLM CP38-L4 II 10X Carbon Fiber Series II Tripod and FLM 100mm bowl adapter. It interferes with the legs in all but a small percentage of leveling.

The ball and clamping mechanism is all anodized aluminum, not steel or plastic as others have said. The center threaded stud is stainless. Quality materials, nicely made. Highly recommended.

The screw is one screw size through the bowl adapter. The screw is also what connects the ball adapter to the threaded knob to attach and tighten to your bowl.
