the description says it only accepts 64gb cards. Why canit I put my 128gb cards in it? Do I really need to get a new card for this camera?
I use a 16GB card in it, and I've never come close to filling it. Do you really need to swap your cards around various cameras? Do yourself a favor and dedicate a 64GB to this camera, and keep it empty between dive vacations. When you're spending this much for a camera, a dedicated SD card for it is pretty trivial. I would take the warnings seriously about potential camera lock-up issues. I went through a phase of lockup issues with early firmware. Fortunately a firmware update fixed that for me.
Spring for an extra battery and charger, too. You don't want to miss out on a dive because the battery is empty. The in-camera USB battery charging is pretty slow.

If I turn off the DC2000 pre-flash, can the main flash be used to wirelessly trigger my vintage NIKON SB-105 flashes set in 'slave' manual mode? Jacques Girouard
The SeaLife DC2000 Digital Underwater Camera's flash does not fire a pre-flash when in Underwater scene mode w/ flash. There is also no pre-flash when shooting in manual mode with force flash. When shooting in these modes you could trigger a Nikonos SB-105 strobe in slave mode.

Is the housing permanently sealed or does it need maintenance? How does it compare to a Sony RX100?
The SeaLife DC2000 Digital Underwater Camera includes a camera and housing. Just like any underwater housing you need to keep the o-rings clean and greased.

question
What is the autofocus delay? How long from button push to exposure? Earlier Sealife cameras had a 3+second delay.
The focus time or shutter response (aka shutter lag) is 1/10 second. This is not shutter speed, it is the time to focus and take the image from pushing the shutter button.
