The CT-S600-12U is a 12" cable designed to partner Sennheiser MKE 600 Shotgun microphones with DSLR camera 3.5mm microphone inputs. It features a female 3-pin XLR connection point at one end and a 3.5mm TRS right-angle male plug at the other. It's designed to send a mono left/right combined signal to your DSLR. The side-exit construction of the XLR connection point is useful when mounting the MKE 600 on a DSLR recorder, keeping the cable out of your face.

Can BH ask CT to produce longer cable lengths please? 12 inches is Too short. Are there any other cable manufacturers selling this type on cable? Thx

Would this product be compatible with the Rode NTG1 and a DSLR camera?
It will connect but it won't work because the Rode needs phantom power. Sennheiser's mke 600 works because it doesn't require phantom power. (it can run with a battery).
