The 12 x 36" Rapid Box Strip XL with Built-In Profoto Speed Ring by Westcott is a light modifier with a unique shape that renders effects not possible with full-sized softboxes. The Rapid Box Strip's narrow dimensions puts out a tight beam of light which is highly controllable compared to standard softboxes, making it ideal for sidelighting in portraiture or product work to separate the subject from the background. Used overhead, it also makes a great hairlight and can be gel filtered for effect. Another use is for lighting glass where it reflects a long elegant highlight.
