Saramonic SmartRig+ Reviews
Works as advertised
This works fine for the devices it supports. Check out the video before purchasing, bu it covers most concerns.
for the price it does a very good job!
it does well what for what I bought it for pair with saramonic videomic i have a good audio systema for the camera .. i need to try it with the saramonic lavalier.. have not do that .. i will and i will be back with some comments here
With all due respect...
I was really looking forward to this purchase, but somewhat disappointed in using this device. My suggestion is buyer be where! This device is not either grounded or properly insulated. If you need to make any adjustments while shooting you can hear every touch, and as you know went shooting video that’s not good. I would also ask for better volume control. It is well design in terms of what is is made of!!!
Really great gear!!!
I’ve had no problems! It’s gear has been a big problem solver for what I bought it for. Glad I got it.
Great Solution for iOS audio input!
Went through a number of other products that were not compatible with applications where we were needing external audio. This was the first device we came across that worked as we had hoped. It works very well, provides clean audio, appropriate levels both to and return. Allows for phantom power and is small enough not to be too cumbersome. We are using this mainly for Comrex Field Tap but also for Facebook Live and Skype. Some other devices we tried only worked with proprietary recording apps.
Excellent Mixer
Well-built, well-designed, solid mixer. The battery is long-lasting, and the headphone output & pan pots are excellent. ONE NOTE: I discovered that the supplied carrying case is a snug fit, and can change your switch settings. I lost audio for 1 take, and that was my fault for not double-checking. Two thumbs up.
Lots of uses for such a small size
I am using this Saramonic to broadcast my church's Bible Study and Sunday Service on Facebook. I have used it a couple of times for family video on my Samsung Note 10, it is very easy to use. The sound quality is quite exceptional, I have not had the opportunity to use it with multiple microphones so I can't comment on that portion of it. to use it with my Samsung I also use the USB-C adapter. Very Happy with my purchase
Works but problematic
Couldn't get it to work off a mixer or tracks out of a Mac. Tone off the mixer didn't transfer well. No bass or mid tones; just very high treble. finally got it to work but not by following the instructions.
