The YN-600II LED 3200-5500K Light is one of a series of LED lights from Yongnuo Digital. This 3200-5500K tungston/daylight-adjustable unit offers two dimming modes (rough and fine), an IR remote control, four barndoors, a power-on/luminance adjustment knob, fan cooling, and two filter panels (one orange, one white). Up to three lights can be grouped via the IR remote control at a distance of up to 49'. A downloadable mobile phone app is available to control the light as well.

Can the barndoors be easily reversed so that their dark side is facing inwards?
Unfortunately, the leaves on the barndoors cannot be reversed in order to have the black side facing the inner portion of the panel.

Are you able to adjust the kelvin temperature to an exact number? Or do you only have two options to choose from - 3200K and 5500K?
You can adjust the color temp anywhere from 3200-5500k.

The specs for this light say 8 VDC, 5 A. Using a 9 VDC should be possible. However, this could take it out of warranty so proceed at your own risk.

Which SPECIFIC batteries do you need to power this?
You need only to use batteries that are Sony NP-F9XX configuration. Therefore you can use any Sony or 3rd party like Watson just as long as they are of the Sony NP-F9XX type. Here are two examples. I suggest the largest size to maximize the light's run time. Sony NP-F970 L-Series Info-Lithium Battery Pack (6300mAh) B&H # SONPF970. Watson NP-F975 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 7800mAh) B&H # WANPF975. I recommend the high quality Sony if you can budget it. If not, the Watson will serve you well.
