Has anyone used this center-mounted on a tripod? Was there much bowing at the ends of the slider track?
No, We have not been able to test the Kessler Crane CineSlider for bowing. Much of this depends on you payload weight on the slider and we suggest using support like the following. https://bhpho.to/3Jb6shE

A travel case is not included with the Kessler Crane CineSlider (40.5"). The PortaBrace SLD-41XT DSLR Camera Slider Case (BH #POSLD41XT) would be a nice travel case to get for the slider.
