question

how do I get the lens cap off ?
Asked by: Ruth
The front lens cap is a push-on type cap that you can pull with your fingers. The rear lens cap is a bayonet-type cap that will twist off in one direction and twist back on in the other.

does it works on A6000 crop sensor camera?
Asked by: Zanio
Yes, the Mitakon Zhongyi 20mm f/2 4.5x Super Macro Lens for Sony E, B&H # MIK20MF2SE, would be compatible for use on the Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera, which uses the Sony E-mount lens mount. As with all lenses used on the Sony a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera, if you are comparing the angle of view of the lens to the same lens used on a full-frame camera, you would have to multiply the focal length by 1.5x to find the full-frame equivalent. As such, the Mitakon Zhongyi 20mm f/2 4.5x Super Macro Lens for Sony E used on the Sony a6000 would be the equivalent of a 30mm lens used on a full-frame camera.

question

is there any way to attach a ring light to this lens?
Asked by: Grant
The lens doesnt have a front filter thread, so there would be no way to attach a ring light to the lens. Though, with a minimum focus distance of .79 (20 mm), you would likely be looking to find some lighting coming from the side. Or, if the item being photographed is relatively translucent, you might also consider lighting it from the back.
