The black Manfrotto Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod with 200LT-PL Quick Release Plate is a B&H Kit consisting of a full tripod set and an additional quick release plate.

  • Manfrotto Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod (Black)

The black Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod from Manfrotto is a camera support that can hold up to 6.6 lb. It extends from 17.5" to 65" and weighs 3.1 lb. The tripod's five leg-sections are secured via flip locks.

The attached 3-way pan/tilt head has two ergonomic handles that fold on top of each other to save space when the tripod is not in use. One handle controls the panning and vertical tilt, while the other controls the horizontal tilt. An included quick-release plate attaches to your camera via a 1/4"-20 threaded screw. A padded carrying bag is also included to protect your tripod during transport.

  • Manfrotto 200LT-PL Quick-Release Plate

The Manfrotto 200LT-PL Quick-Release Plate is ideal for quickly attaching cameras onto all compatible Manfrotto quick-release assemblies equipped with an RC2/Q2 attachment and a load capacity of 8.8 lb or less. If using this plate on a head with a greater load capacity, it is recommended not to exceed 8.8 lb of gear. Thanks to its lightweight technopolymer body reinforced with extremely stiff glass fibers, the plate can stay attached to your camera without adding excessive weight or volume.

The rubber used on this product provides even greater grip than previous models, keeping the camera securely attached and reducing camera twist. The plate is easily attached to your camera by hand-tightening a D-ring, removing the need for tools.

Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod with 200LT-PL Quick Release Plate is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke almost immediately! I did not put it through anything out of the ordinary and it broke within the first five minutes of use! One of the arms which adjusts the heads just popped off. Maybe I got a lemon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! My first tripod and it is a winner....very easy to use and love that heights are adjustable for each leg to make it easier to shoot on an unlevel surface.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not for scopes I bought this tripod to use it with my spotting scope. It does not work for this because if you unlock the pan then the whole scope leans to the side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice little tripod I have, for a lot of years, used an old Vivitar 2220 that is strong like bull. Unfortunately, it is also heavy like bull. Regardless, I have hauled that thing nearly all over the world. It's a good tripod but I have long wanted something lighter and better for travel. And it better be tough to handle the rough and tumble world of travel. Enter the Manfrotto. I like how the pan head (I prefer pan heads over ball heads)folds up compact and the legs slide up short with 4 cam lock sections. I prefer this style of leg over turn locks as they can be operated one handed. Its not a sturdy as my trusty Viv but I know I'll take it places the Viv will never go. I have learned long ago to preload the legs to make the Viv more solid etc. and have used that technique with great effect on the Frotto Yes, I name my camera equipment. Of course now I have a quick release plate and I got a second one. Why? because I have a Nikon D5000 (my 5) and a new D5500 (5-5) Frotto will never replace Viv. But I think Viv will be more of a stay at home tripod. Frotto lacks the center crank elevation feature but that makes it lighter. works for me. More compact and actually a bit quieter. That can be important at times Recommend this? You bet. No tripod is an end all be all. But I see Frotto going places. Lots of them. After inadvertently dropping Frotto down some stairs, it seems to be up to the challenge of the rough and tumble world of travel. For sure, if your lookiing for a light, decent tripod for travel for the $s, take a good look at this.
