The black Manfrotto Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod with 200LT-PL Quick Release Plate is a B&H Kit consisting of a full tripod set and an additional quick release plate.

  • Manfrotto Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod (Black)

The black Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod from Manfrotto is a camera support that can hold up to 6.6 lb. It extends from 17.5" to 65" and weighs 3.1 lb. The tripod's five leg-sections are secured via flip locks.

The attached 3-way pan/tilt head has two ergonomic handles that fold on top of each other to save space when the tripod is not in use. One handle controls the panning and vertical tilt, while the other controls the horizontal tilt. An included quick-release plate attaches to your camera via a 1/4"-20 threaded screw. A padded carrying bag is also included to protect your tripod during transport.

  • Manfrotto 200LT-PL Quick Release Plate

The Manfrotto 200LT-PL Quick Release Plate is ideal for quickly attaching cameras onto all compatible Manfrotto quick release assemblies equipped with an RC2/Q2 attachment and a load capacity of 8.8 lb or less. If using this plate on a head with a greater load capacity, it is recommended not to exceed 8.8 lb of gear. Thanks to its lightweight technopolymer body reinforced with extremely stiff glass fibers, the plate can stay attached to your camera without adding excessive weight or volume.

The rubber used on this product provides even greater grip than previous models, keeping the camera securely attached and reducing camera twist. The plate is easily attached to your camera by hand-tightening a D-ring, removing the need for tools.

Compact Advanced Aluminum Tripod with 200LT-PL Quick Release Plate is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great General Purpose Tripod A quite sturdy and versatile tripod for supporting medium-weight camera equipment. I use it with the Nikon D750 and 24-120 mm AF-S FX zoom lens (3+ pounds combined weight). Very good tripod functionality. Collapses to a relatively compact size so that it can be taken on trips without problems. Tripod extends to bring the camera up to eye-level height of a standing person (average size). The center column permits easy fine adjustments of camera height. The quick release plate allows for an easy detachment of camera and plate; it is a little more cumbersome to quickly reattach the camera with affixed plate to the tripod. Overall verdict: Great value for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great to carry around I run around filming exhibits in crowded convention centers and such. Carrying a heavy tripod can be quite a hassle. Getting this manfrotto has made my life so much easier. I love the aluminum body, its not heavy at all. fits on my small manfrotto bag fits in my smaller suitcase as i fly all over the states for these shows. Love the fact that it is a dual head. Do not love that it does not have a bubble. Leveling becomes a guessing game. the second handle tilts to easily when i don't want to. And if you lock it down all out of the way both handles become locked down. Don't expect it to be a fluid head. The head works and its not jerky but its not smooth. It jerks at the first motion and then smooth from there. All in all Its a great tripod for on the run. Im planning to install a bubble on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it needs to I use this tripod to take product and marketing shots. It took me a while to find a decent one -- this was my third try. So far, I am very happy with it. However, there are a few things that could be improved upon. It is very light weight and has the ability to easily rotate and go from landscape to portrait quickly. But the plate that attaches the camera to the tripod comes loose quite often. Other than that, my only complaint is that there is no level. For all of the adjustment features this tripod has, you would think a level would have been an obvious addition. Overall, I am very happy with this tripod. It is worth the money and does exactly what I need it to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Hiking Tripod This tripod is high quality, lightweight, and compact, So it's great for casual hiking and biking trips. However, it shouldn't be used with heavy cameras or lenses. I wish it had a level, and I wish it were a little more sturdy. But for a $ Manfrotto tripod it's worth every penny. I chose the Manfrotto compact advanced tripod over the compact action tripod because the last joystick tripod head I had couldn't handle the weight of an SLR, and actually dropped it on a tile floor during a photo shoot. Also, I prefer the independent axis controls for landscape photography.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Little Tripod I have a number of tripods including a couple of Manfrottos. The purpose for this one was to provide a decent platform for my Nikons while backpacking in the back country. So the tripod's weight needed to be balanced against its stability and features. I have the Manfrotto Compact Action which is technically lighter but the ball head is frustrating. This Compact Advanced provides solid, predictable control on both the vertical and horizontal axis while providing a solid platform.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect lightweight Tripod I wanted a backup tripod that wouldn't weigh me down on long hot hikes at the beach in Florida. Works great with my Sony A6300, swivel is smooth for taking videos. This tripod is amazingly sturdy and well built, Manfrotto tripods rock!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! I'm not really a professional photographer but I shoot a lot of small projects for my blog and life. I love that this tripod is so light and easy to carry. I also like the height. I can leave it up in my house and shoot random things at low light that I normally wouldn't even try to catch. Worked great for a family portrait in front of a birthday cake with low light. There are a lot of clips to flip so I imagine someone, who needs to set up and take down regularly, might find them tedious but for me it's fine.
