question

how does the shutter response time compare to the D300s?
Asked by: Pamela R.
Most cameras shoot at 4,000s or 8,000s as top speed. Fuji and a few others with electronic shutters can shoot up to 32,000... Amazing, huh? Almost all older film cameras went up to 1,000 or 2,000, which I find more than enough. I seldum have to shoot faster than 125-250. The basic rule is to shoot faster than the focal length of the lens: i.e. 50mm at 60th, 28mm at 30th as minimums, although steady shots show make it better . If the subject isn't moving a 60th is good enough or if they are walking towards you a 60th is also good. Test with friends first.

Nikon D70 had a build in motor for autofocusing Nikon lenses without build in autofocus lenses , Nikon D5600 does not have autofocus motor . So it will autofocus only lenses with build in autofocus motor . The answer is if you have Nikon G lenses it will work fine , if you have Nikon D lenses you will not have autofocus

can I use lenses from my d3300 on this camera?
Asked by: Charles
Well, the 5600 fell in the creek, so in the meantime I am using a 3300. My Nikon lenses will work on both bodies. My wide angle Tokina will also work on both bodies. For my macro Tokina, the 3300 says "incompatible lens".
