Sirui BCT Series 2-Stage 100mm Tripod Legs Overview

The BCT-3003 Professional 3-Section Aluminum Video Tripod from Sirui features a 100mm bowl for compatible fluid heads and supports up to 40 lb loads. It offers a 17.5 to 63" height range and comes with ground and mid-level spreaders, both of which are removable. The ground spreader has a rubber underside for safer and more secure placement on flat surfaces. When the ground spreader is removed, dual-spiked feet are revealed for use on soft ground.

The aluminum tripod is designed with multi-tube legs for enhanced stability and reduced vibration. Each leg is adjustable individually and secured with oversized twist leg locks that are easy to handle.

Sturdy, heavy, solid tripod. Floor spreader and mid-level spreader are also good quality.

Had broken piece and rattle out of the box.

This was my first time purchasing the 3002 tripod legs. I have purchased the carbon fiber 3202 legs before with no issues, but this time, right out of the box, one of the plastic tie downs for transport was broken which is not so big a deal, but when I extended the legs, I instantly noticed a strange rattle within all the different legs. The inside of the tripod bag was also already disintegrating how old faux leather does after a long time. I don’t know if the quality control has gone down since I last purchased a Sirui tripod, but I’ll have to return this one.
