With a 240 Hz native refresh rate, the Republic of Gamers Swift PG258Q 24.5" 16:9 240 Hz G-Sync LCD Gaming Monitor from ASUS offers reduced lag and blur even when playing fast paced racing and first person shooter games. In addition to the enhanced refresh rate this Republic of Gamers monitor also features an ultra-fast 1 ms response time and support for NVIDIA G-Sync technology, which syncs the monitors refresh rate to the graphics card refresh rate essentially eliminating all ghosting and blur within the game. The TN (Twisted Nematic) panel also features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1,000:1 static contrast ratio, and support for up to 16.7 million colors.

If a 1ms response time, 240 Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync technology aren't enough, this monitor also comes with ASUS GamePlus technology, which includes a variety of gaming modes to suit the type of game you're playing. This along with other display technologies can be configured using the built-in 5-way OSD joystick found on the back of the display.

Setup and configuration of the ASUS ROG PG258Q is simple as it comes equipped with both DisplayPort and HDMI inputs as well as USB 3.0 connectivity and a built-in headphone jack.
