The ADDERLink X-DVI PRO KVM Extender from Adder extends a system's DVI-D, USB, and audio connections up to 164' (50m) away, letting your computer stay cool, clean, and dust-free while you work in a less-than ideal environment. The X-DVI PRO comes with a transmitter unit, which plugs into your computer's DVI-D, audio, and USB ports, as well as receiver unit that offers four USB 2.0 ports, one 3.5mm audio jack, and one DVI-D port. Both units connect to each other via a CAT 7, 7a, 6a, or 5e cable. Video resolution and distance are based upon on the type of networking cable used.
Digital Video, Real-Time Control
The X-DVI PRO extender uses an uncompressed system whereby every pixel of every frame is sent without loss. HDMI video and audio can be extended with the correct adapter cable, although HDCP and CEC are not supported.
