Is this made out of polypropylene plastic?
The manufacturer's web site says 'Binders are made from archival quality polypropylene with snap latches to keep dirt and moisture out.' My observation is that are not airtight so you still should store them in a reasonably clean and dry environment.

Most of my archive is store in negative sheets that measure w10" x h12.1". Will these sleeves sit comfortably in this box?
The dimensions of the interior of the Besfile Archival Binder with Rings, is listed at 11.6 x 10.3. I f one is very careful negative sheets that are 12.1 x 10 will tuck in, making sure the negatives do not bend.

The six across could run up the very edge of inside. You may have to try it. I think I started using the 5 across for this very sane reason.
