Give your Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II a touch of elegance while protecting it from dirt, scratches, and bumps with the dark brown Ever Ready Protective Case from MegaGear. This two-piece case consists of a top and bottom, as well as a matching carry strap. The bottom half may be used independently as a half-case and attaches to the built-in tripod mounting screw. This screw is threaded on the bottom for convenient tripod usage without having to remove the case. The top piece completes the all-around protection and attaches with snaps. MegaGear MG764 Reviews
Follow-up to my previous report
As I wrote before, the quality is great. As I also wrote, there was no issue with the door to the battery chamber- If you are patient.. The hatch through the case is a bit narrow. So, you have to push back the case hatch and then manouver the battery in place. Also, the snaps are a bit tight and at times, hard to close. Otherwise the case is good.
It fits the Canon G7Xii like a glove.
As some of you will see, I have asked a lot of questions about this case. Well, I did buy the case finally. Here is what I found. The neck strap is twenty nine inches long. It does fit around your neck . Mid chest maybe a little bit longer.. Product is well made. Everything fits correctly. No, it is not hard to access the SD card or battery slots. It does block the aperture switch a bit. By this I mean, on this camera, you can either have the camera click as it changes the F stop or shutter speed, or you can put it to silent. For me, it is not a problem as I like the click version. Just adjust it before you install the case. The only negative and so only four stars, is the fact that when you attach the case to the camera itself, the attachment screw does not protrude and so, you cannot turn the mounting screw by hand, but you require a coin or hex key to tighten. Otherwise, very good unit. I chose brown, but there is a black version as well. I assume that this report would be equally relevant to the black one as well.
