Designed for a Web-optimized experience, the ASUS 10.1" Chromebook Flip C100PA 32GB Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Chromebook provides a user-friendly interface enhanced by the Internet.
This ASUS Chromebook has an 10.1" widescreen display, with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 1280 x 800 native resolution. It can support native 720p HD video playback without letterboxing. The touchscreen lets you utilize the multi-touch gestures incorporated in Chrome OS. The 360° hinge also lets you turn the Chromebook Flip into a tablet. Additionally, the Chromebook can output video to an external display via the micro-HDMI port.
The system is powered by a Rockchip 3288-C SoC, which features a quad-core 1.8 GHz ARM Cortez-A17 processor and integrated ARM Mali-T764 graphics. It also has 4GB of onboard LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB of eMMC storage, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, an integrated front-facing webcam, and a built-in microphone. There are also built-in stereo speakers. Additional compatible peripherals, such as extra storage, optical drives, mice, and more may be connected using the two USB 2.0 ports. Headphones, external speakers, or a mic may also be connected using the 3.5mm headphone-out/audio-in combo jack.
Google Chrome OS is a Linux-based operating system designed by Google to work exclusively with web applications. This ASUS Chromebook combines the aspects of a pure cloud client with the hardware of a traditional portable computer, which puts it in its very own class of netbook and notebook computers.
