Same broken adjuster as the other guy but not a big deal

The overall quality of the diffuser is top notch. Very thick and blocks all light. The adjuster is a joke and came out of the bag broken. Just like the other reviewer. Not sure why the other person was unhappy. You can use any spring loaded barrel adjuster as a replacement.
Broken drawstring clasp THREE TIMES

I had purchased the deep umbrella with diffuser from a local store and found that the clasp on one of the two drawstrings on the diffuser was broken. I then ordered it from B&H. second order, broken on arrival. THIRD order, broken on arrival. Elinchrom has really dropped the ball on this item. cheap plastic that cant even stay together before the first use?! Without the clasp the drawstring doesnt hold and the cap slips off the umbrella OR the light, whichever end is broken. Sadly there are no third party equivalents. I have contacted the Elinchrom Distributor and they have said simply each item cant be inspected before shipment. 0/3 real poor product. Now i'm stuck with a deep umbrella i didn't want without a diffuser
