Most of the photos on the website show the tilting screen on the back tilted out "about 45 degrees". But one of the photos is a straight-on photo of the back and it seems to show the screen "perfectly horizontal"; i.e. "tilted out at 90 degrees" from the camera. My question: How far out can the screen be tilted?
Asked by: John
Wasn’t sure about the degree so checked the Ken Rockwell review. It says “ Flips up 135º and down 90.º if the are looking I would consider the new D780.

question

Can the ISO really expand to 1,640,000 like the d500?
Asked by: Jermone M.
Back in the Darkroom Ages the limits were 3200-6400 before the Hard Grain took over. Try a top of 2500 and see what you get. The new cams have steady shot which should do a lot to get a good shot with less Noise . also, add a mono-pod.

The D7500 is a great wildlife camera, but so is any modern dale or mirror less camera. The lens you mount is the most critical and expensive part of your purchase

It has 20 megapixels v the d5500 which has 24. Is this a big deal?
Asked by: Richard
Not really, 4 megapixels is not a big deal and if your not making large prints and or cropping your images, then it will not be an issue.

question

Are the d7500 camera body dimensions and basic button placement(shutter release, video record button) the same as the d7100 or other d7xxx models?. I ask because I have an under water housing specifically for that camera model/dimensions.
Asked by: Mike
No, the D7500 will have both be a tad bit smaller and have different button placement.
