Will the lens from my Nikon D5000 fit the D7500?
Asked by: Linda Green
The D5000 is compatible with the same lenses as the D7500, except for new AF-P lenses that are not compatible with the D5000, but are compatible with the D7500.

Hi I have Nikon D7500, and the kit lens 70-300 ...

Hi I have Nikon D7500, and the kit lens 70-300 and 18-140. I noticed that when I take a picture of some goose flying at 140 mm with both lens , the picture with the lens 70-300 are more sharp and less grain. So Do you thing that the lens 18-140 cause more grain that the lens 70-300 when I shoot for wildlife. Any body can help me please. Thank you.
Asked by: Juan
The problem is likely the result of using Auto ISO. When the 18mm-140mm is zoomed into 140mm, the aperture becomes at the widest, a f/5.6, compared to on the 70mm-300mm when zoomed to 140mm, the aperture becomes at the widest, an f/4.8. So the camera needs to raise the ISO higher on the 18mm-140mm to make it a proper exposure vs. the 70mm-300mm which doesn't need to raise the ISO up as high. As a result of this, the 18mm-140mm will look more grainy because the ISO is being adjusted higher than the 70mm-300mm.

How do you determine how many shots the camera has?
Asked by: Steven
Do you mean once you purchase the camera how do you check how many shots were made to test the camera in the factory? If yes the easiest way to find the shutter count of most DSLR’s is to take a photo (Raw or Jpeg is fine,) then open it in Adobe Photoshop. Then, go to File>File Info and look for Image Number (not Shutter Count.)
