We bought two of these to mount small Black Magic cameras to the walls of our church. These are simple and easy to use. Works great for us!

Solid mount, end adapter an issue

Everything about this is perfect, except for the end attachment mount, like others have mentioned. You have to make adjustments, and use a small Allen wrench to secure it down correctly, and hope it does not move. It took me a number of tries for my Olympus 4/3 camera, but it is great once you get it set up.

The baby plate and pin feel pretty solid(not as solid as tradition grip baby plates but close) however the ball head is nearly unusable. Very hard to tighten and 1 of 3 has already broken.

All of the parts of this wall mount are well built and sturdy. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I'm using this for two lighter cameras in a church sanctuary. The plate mounts securely to the wall, but the ball head is loose. It is hard to get the camera positioned right, and I wouldn't want to make changes live using this mount.

La vis de la boule ne fixe pas l'axe mais seulement la boule elle-mme. Mme quand je serre fortement, l'ensemble dvisse sous le poids de la camra. Je dois la suspendre et elle n'est jamais vraiment au niveau.

Does the head rotate so that the camera lens faces perpendicular to the ground? If so, would it hold the weight of a DSLR with a large lens and macro adapters?
Asked by: Patricia
Hello Patricia yes, the head rotates which allows the camera to be positioned at various angles. The load capacity is 6 pounds, enough for holding a camera with a large lens.
