The Luminous Pro 17.5" Daylight LED Ringlight Plus from Savage is a unique light source that envelopes your subject in soft, nearly shadowless light that is very flattering to skin tones and renders interesting catchlights in the eyes of your subject that are the hallmark of this form factor. While the light can be used off axis on a stand, its effect is even more pronounced when you use the included shoe mount and metal ball head to shoot through it with the camera lens centered in the 11.5" diameter opening of the light.
The ringlight has daylight-balanced color temperature of 5500K, making ideal for shooting outdoors or in environments dominated by windows, while the light's high CRI of 95 is an indication that you can expect an outstanding degree of accuracy in color rendering. Light intensity is adjustable from 10 to 100%, saving you the bother of moving the light back and forth for the proper exposure, but you can also dim it at a distance via the included wireless remote control. The Luminous Pro Ringlight is ready for worldwide use thanks to its included multi-voltage AC adapter, but it will also give you a full power run time of 75 minutes using the included NP-F750 batteries in situations where mains power is unavailable. A padded carry case is also provided for storage and transport.
