Good in a Pinch, but You'll Quickly Upgrade
This thing is great in a pinch where maybe you have a massive front diameter, or maybe you're missing a clamp-on size. However, this thing is also a huge pain to use as an AC. The donut constantly falls off of the module. After you swing your lens, when you're stretching this thing out and putting it over your new lens it'll just disconnect from where it attaches on the module. This means you'll need to stretch it to your lens and then re-attach it to the module again. I understand why ARRI designed it this way because if it breaks you'd be screwed, but I also wish ARRI just permanently attached the donut to the module and/or gave us a way to take it off but then clamp/secure it to the module when we're using it day to day. The way it attaches currently just has the donut sitting over a lip of metal on the module, so you have to be real gentle while stretching it to your lens, otherwise the whole thing will just disconnect from the module. Don't get me wrong, it has great build quality, but ARRI could've given this design some more thought IMO.
does the job
Overpriced as most filmmaking tools (particularly from Arri) Does the job with well known German design performance
