Able to be opened up like an umbrella, the 32 x 48" EZ-Pro Softbox from Fotodiox will make set up and tear down much simpler. Able to soften and diffuse light, the softbox is a classic modifier both in studio and on location, and this model features a heat-resistant design and sealable venting to support a variety of different types of fixtures. It also uses a silver interior to maximize output and features both an inner baffle and front diffuser to produce an even quality of light, though these do not need to be removed for storage. Another customizable advantage of this softbox is the inclusion of an accessory that can transform your box into a collapsible beauty dish. This accessory can also help reduce hot spots when using a diffuser. Users can pick up an optional fabric grid, as well, to control light spill. This model comes with a rotating speed ring with locking thumbscrew which features an insert that is compatible with most Balcar lights.

FotodioX EZ-Pro Softbox Reviews
Carry a Screwdriver and Pliers
I own 4 EZ-Pro softboxes. 2 9x36, and 2 32x48, all purchased from B&H. The speedring for the Bowens mount does not fit properly for all 4 units. The ring is small enough that there is too much play, washers to hold it in place are too small. The metal of the speed ring is very thin, very soft. All of this means that you need to keep a screwdriver and pliers in your pocket during shoots. The screwdriver, because the ring will randomly let go of the soft box, dropping it on clients, and you will have to remove half of the screws to put it back together. The pliers, because the soft metal of the speed ring will need to be bent back in place. Every shoot. The boxes themselves are great, the mounts make them useless. I need a fix from the manufacturer.
You get what you pay for.
After my second use the rivets at the arm hinges broke setting up for a photoshoot. This is the third soft box with Fotodiox/Pro Studio I have had issues with. I had to come up with a make shift pin on a shoot location as a quick fix. Never again will I buy Fotodiox or Pro Studio. Spend the extra $$ and get a Wescott.
