Can't get 10GbE connection

I'm using this in Windows 11 and have the most recent driver as of 2023-02-20. With default driver settings it connects to my 10GbE switch or w/ a direct connection to my QNap NAS 10GbE port at 2.5GbE. Changing the driver's Transmit Buffers from 2048 to 4096 in Device Manager increased the connection speed to 5GbE. That's the best I've managed. Wish I'd spent more for an Intel chipset.

As advertised.

Based on the Aquantia 107 chipset. Works great. Have many other Aquantia based 10 gbe NIC's including the Synology E10G18-T1. Added to a new Dell XPS 8950. Be warned you have to disable the internal 2.5 gbe NIC first or this card will act flaky !!!

Plug and play for the most part.

Works well - Windows 10

Affordable, but randomly drops the connection

The card is too good to be true. Sure, it can connect at 10GB/s, but you'll quickly find that the card will just stop working too. Then you have to reset it before you have any connectivity again. That might be almost passable for a client machine, but forget it for any machine that you want to use as some kind of server. It's unfortunate, as this card had so much promise only to fall short, and it is most likely just a bad driver, and there isn't a newer one that fixes it, and it's been this way for over a year.

It works.

It works as intended. I had no complications with install or use. I now get around 550mbs transfer speed between my PC and 10gb upgraded Synology NAS.

Zero lag. No shudders, No missed shots.

easy to install. Downloading and unzipping the drives were the hardest thing to do. As a replacement for the Ethernet card my computer came with. It's night and day. I already see an improvement in my game play. Zero lag. No shudders, No missed shots.

I just got Xfinity 2gbps internet. Will this card allow it to download fast than say my regular old 1000mb card?
Asked by: Anonymous
If all your devices support up to 10Gbps, you can get speeds up to a 10Gbps. If not, this card also supports 10/5/2.5 and 1 Gbps of speeds. 2.5 Gigabytes will be faster than 1000 megabytes.
