Is there a cable you can buy that works with Sony A7rV and the Sony HVL-F60RM2 Wireless Radio Flash?
Asked by: Mark
The Commander in the Sony FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander with FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver Kit is designed to be attached directly onto the Sony A7R V hot shoe.  If you do want to use a TTL cord, one of these should work: https://bhpho.to/435zLzp.

Yes, the Sony FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander with FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver Kit can work with the Paul C. Buff lights, but you need to attach the receiver to the light via a sync cord. Also, it will only work to set off the strobe. It will not allow adjustments.

question

Can I use non Sony (e.g., Nikon) flash with this?
Asked by: Alex
As indicated under the Overview for the Sony FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander with FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver Kit, it is compatible for use with the following Sony Multi-Interface hot shoe flashes:Compatible FlashesHVL-F32MHVL-F43MHVL-F60MHVL-F42AM (manual only, requires ADP-MAA Shoe Adapter)HVL-F43AM (manual only, requires ADP-MAA Shoe Adapter)HVL-F58AM (manual only, requires ADP-MAA Shoe Adapter)As Nikon flashes do not have the extra pin design on the front of the hot shoe as does Sony's Multi-Interface flashes, there would be no extra communication for adjusting output power, zoom, exposure compensation, HSS, etc. If you use a Nikon flash on the above remote, the flash would have to be set to full Manual mode, and you would have to preset the flash output manually on the Nikon flash.
