The Westcott X-Drop Kit (5 x 12', White) can be used with a rod at least 2cm in diameter in the sewn top seam of the fabric.

How tall is this stand? I just bought this kit and the stall seems too short.
The stand remains 7' tall and the backdrop sweeps out 5' onto the floor.

Basically yes. It's a stretchy, fleece-like synthetic that smooths out very well and diffuses light so any minor wrinkles that remain after stretching onto the background stand don't appear in photos.

Will this work with the x drop system that came ...
Will this work with the x drop system that came with the 5x12’ drop? I don’t need a longer drop and would prefer to go with 5x7’ for my second drop. The description says this 5x7’ works with the 5x7’ system but looks like the same only no material for a “floor drop”
Yes it will. There is one X-Drop frame (Westcott Part #570X) and both the 5x7 and 5x12 work with that frame.

The Westcott X-Drop Pro Wrinkle-Resistant Sweep Backdrop stand has hooks for the grommets to put it on. If you will do DIY backdrop - you will be able to place it on the stand, but at the moment we do not carry any off brand backdrops with that type of mounting.

BH #WE877SK has a train for going under the subject. The frame supporting it is the same as the 8x8' Kit.
