The LensSack Pro Beanbag Support from LensCoat provides a stable base for lenses up to 800mm. It has a removable mounting plate with a 3/8"-16 thread so that you can attach a gimbal or other tripod head to the beanbag. Made from water-resistant Cordura, the LensSack Pro features MOLLE webbing, two storage pockets, and two adjustable straps allow for easy carrying.

The bag is flat on the side where the mounting plate can be attached, and is U-shaped on the other side with a non-slip coating inside. The beanbag ships empty and can be filled with your choice of filler such as environmentally-friendly sunflower seeds or buckwheat hulls. Two locking YKK zippers make filling and emptying the bag an easy task, and reinforced seams keep your fill from spilling. The LensSack Pro is made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Beanbag for shooting out the car window. Used oat hulls to fill the LensSack Pro. Works great and is extremely light. If you wanted greater stability one could use rice, dried peas, beans, etc., but at twice the weight. Bag is extremely well made with heavy duty zippers. As a precaution I used adhesive valcro to close shut the zipper flap to stop any accidental opening of the bag which would spew oat hulls everywhere. Used it immediately out the car window with great results. Its amazing at how well the car works as a bird blind. Don't know if I will ever use my Wimberly head with the bag. Its so light with the oat hulls that it rests easily on the half rolled up window.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Well Only used it a few times so far to attach a Wimberley. Does all that is described. The only pain is when you put beans in the bag and you get to another country their countries quarantine usually wont let you in, so you have to raid the supermarket for 15 bucks worth of beans every time. I have also travelled to some ecologically sensitive areas where there were no beans or other naturals allowed period, so it was rendered unusable. Thought about rice or other fillers but on exposure to water it could be a problem too. It would be cool if there was something synthetic available. She does get heavy fully loaded but also means a steady platform too. Happy Customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag This bag make a great rest for shooting my 1DX and 600mm f4L from a car window. I stuffed mine with pinto beans but I am going to switch to buckweat hulls or sunflower seed in a attempt to save weight. It took 14lbs of pinto beans to fill this bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LensCoat LensSack Pro Beanbag Support This is a very good product. It took about twenty pounds of white rice to fill the bag. I think it works better if you don't fill the bag completely full. I have attached a photo of a Barred Owl (Strix varia) that was taken at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge the first day I used the beanbag. This photo was taken with the beanbag upside down on the roof of my vehicle. When you use the beanbag in a vehicle window be careful not to try and raise the the beanbag with the window to get more elevation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant design. Does it all ! I had previously bought a bean bag of similar design from another company. It was ok but lacked the versatility of this product. Having a removable aluminium plate with a 3/8 bolt (a gimbal can therefore be directly attached) is brilliant. This product is versatile and well constructed. Looking forward to using it in the field in Africa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty beanbag support I wish I would have bought this beanbag a lot sooner than I did. I was using a pillow to support my 600 mm lens as I shot from my car. This works so much better! The beanbag weighs 10 lbs. when filled with sunflower seeds. It's very well-made and I'm sure I'll be using it for many years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this item again!! Well worth the money! I love this product! I'm so glad that I finally purchased it. I use this outside of my van window along with Manfrotto heavy telescope lens support!! Great combo! It makes it so much easier for me to keep my camera and lens stable to be able to get the great shots of wildlife.
