The Alt-Azimuth Adjustable Base is exactly what I needed to do fine adjustments to azimuth and altitude using easy-to-use knobs. I did find the altitude know was easier to use than the dual azimuth knobs, which have a maximum and minimum adjustment when adjusting continually to left or right. However, this is quirk is soon forgotten as the adjustments are easy to make.

The iOptron Alt-Azimuth Adjustable Base (BH # IO3327) does not include a dove-tail plate. iOptron recommends the iOptron Top Plate for Alt-azimuth Adjustable Base P-3327-VP and the iOptron 7" Vixen Style Universal Dovetail Plate (B&H # IO8422178).
