    Godox TT350F reviews

TT350F Mini Thinklite TTL Flash for Fujifilm Cameras is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good flash for Fuji, Price WOW. I bought one of these mainly for the size and the price. Once I tested it and read many reviews on setting it up I really can't see why a Fuji users would buy something else. I have since bought 2 more and plan on using one on camera, as a flash mostly, and the other 2 as remotes using the built in wireless TTL mode. Sure it's not that powerful but works well. And with the other 2 off camera you will be firing 3 flashes which should give you enough light for many different types of shots. And the price is out of this world. You can buy 5 of these for the cost of the newer Fuji flash. If need be in the future I can buy the more powerful TT685 and still control it from the TT350.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great. No problems or issues I bought this flash a month ago, along with a TT685F flash and a Godox XT1-F radio trigger. I had to upgrade the firmware on the flashes, as well as the trigger. Performing the upgrade was easy. Once the firmware was upgraded, everything worked correctly on the flashes and trigger. I own a Fuji XT2 camera. Each flash works correctly and without issue on the camera in the TTL, HSS, and manual modes. The flashes also work correctly when controlled by the trigger in all three modes. Assigning the two flashes to the same or different groups also works correctly. All in all, I am very pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very Mixed I bought this flash to go on top of my Fuji X100T. Figured it was small and can add punch to outdoor night photos. Nothing fancy needed. The flash performed well. It fits well, doesn't get in the way of any buttons and is quite powerful. I did enjoy that is has TTL exposure compensation right on the flash dial and I don't need to cycle through the camera's menu system to adjust the output in TTL. My problem was the power button. More often than not, the unit simply did not turn on. I added some silver foil to the battery compartment and tried to make the battery connection stronger and that helped sometimes, but it is still very moody. It always stayed on. Which is weird. Another issue and this may be a Fuji issue was that the camera did not fire if the flash was not ready to trigger or was asleep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and versatile flash This is a great little flash. It matches the size of the Fujifilm X-T20 well. On camera, it works reasonably well in fully automatic TTL mode, and, off camera, it can be triggered optically as a 'slave' in manual mode by the camera's built-in flash, without any additional equipment. It has two slave settings - one setting (S1) that triggers the flash in response to ANY flash from the camera, and one (S2) that ignores pre-flashes that are being used by the camera in TTL mode. The camera has two corresponding modes, of course. Its manual and 'commander' modes will not send any pre-flashes, while its TTL flash mode will send weak pre-flashes for metering purposes. The most reasonable approach to using the Godox TT350F flash off-camera as an optical 'slave' flash is to use the S1 setting on the flash (with the flash in manual mode), combined with either the manual flash setting on the camera, or with the camera in its 'commander mode'. Using the manual flash setting on the camera, allows use of various combinations of direct flash (from the camera) and off-camera flash light (from the Godox unit). On the other hand, If one uses the camera's 'commander' flash mode, most of the light comes from the Godox unit. It is important to realize that this is 'most' of the light - in commander mode, the camera actually sends out a weak (1/16 total power) direct flash which can be visible at close range, but will not matter much at larger distances. I think of the 'commander' mode as a specialized manual mode, where the light output of the camera's flash is set to 1/16th maximal power. The optical off-camera flash operation is, of course, not a TTL system, thus all settings will have to be adjusted by hand on the flash. Thus far I have done this simply using trial-and-error methods. This is easy to do, but a bit cumbersome. Fortunately, the flash can also be used fully TTL controlled, using Godox's wireless trigger system. I have not used this method of wireless control, but all indications are that it will work well. The flash has few negatives. The limited output, both in terms of light and in terms of its wireless signal (when operated as wireless 'master' unit), is one of them. The user interface also requires also requires some getting used to. One simply has to read the manual for this and use the flash's settings to appreciate the various functions. This is not rocket science! All in all, this is an excellent little flash, at an excellent price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little powerhouse Size is perfect for the camera and only having 2 batteries makes it light. I find it is a bit on the bright side for outdoor fillin with my Fuji, so I dial the compensation down by 1/3 stop. Overall a great product and an exceptional value. Due yourself a favor and order 2 and the wireless trigger. This will save you doing what I did and needing to wait for to get it. The 2 flashes and trigger is less than most camera branded flashes and works as well if not better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value The TT350F is a great mid-sized flash; well-suited to the size of my Fuji X-E3. The flash fills an intermediate-sized (lightweight, using only two AA batteries) that is lacking in the Fuji line. Also, the price is very, very reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Godox TT350F Flash for Fujifilm This flash is well made and is a perfect size for my X100F. Not a powerhouse but works well in TTL with a respectable recharging time. It seems more expensive than a $100 flash. So far, so good.
