Check out the Tannoy VX 12.2Q, a single passive 12" loudspeaker offering high output and optimal phase coherence for multipurpose use as an FOH speaker, a floor monitor, or a side fill. The VX 12.2Q can be used as a passive full-range speaker or bi-amped.
The speaker utilizes 2000W (peak) to drive the 12" PowerDual driver and the 12" low frequency driver, which combine for a frequency response of 70 Hz to 25 kHz with a maximum SPL of 132. The speaker can also be used in a bi-amp configuration, where both drivers require up to 1400W each. The VX 12.2Q utilizes a Q-Centric waveguide for tight horizontal and vertical pattern control (75° H x 40° V). The vented and internally braced trapezoidal plywood enclosure features an array of mounting points including eight M10 flying inserts, eight M10 yoke bracket inserts, and a blanking plate, allowing versatile installation with separately available hardware.
