Equally suited to washing stages and highlighting particular performers or elements, the 50W Encore FR50Z from American DJ is an LED 6" Fresnel fixture offering a soft-edged 3000K warm-white beam with a CRI of 95. The included barndoors allow you to adjust the fixture's light dispersion, while the integrated manual zoom enables you to regulate the beam angle between 14 and 30°. The fixture is fitted with a bracket that can be easily secured into place at any desired angle using the built-in side-mounted locking levers.

American DJ FR50Z Overview

Equally suited to washing stages and highlighting particular performers or elements, the 50W Encore FR50Z from American DJ is an LED 6" Fresnel fixture offering a soft-edged 3000K warm-white beam with a CRI of 95. The included barndoors allow you to adjust the fixture's light dispersion, while the integrated manual zoom enables you to regulate the beam angle between 14 and 30°. The fixture is fitted with a bracket that can be easily secured into place at any desired angle using the built-in side-mounted locking levers.

The fixture offers smooth 0-100% digital dimming and is compatible with the standard DMX512 control protocol for easy integration into existing lighting systems. A 16-character backlit LCD display menu located on the side of the unit makes it easy to select a DMX address as well as any of the fixture's operating options. The FR50Z's connectivity interface includes XLR input and output sockets for connection to a DMX controller as well as powerCON input and output sockets for reducing cable runs by daisy chaining multiple fixtures from a single power supply. The Encore FR50Z includes a set of barndoors and ships with a powerCON power cord.

Can this fresnel's color temperature be changed from 3000K to 4000K or 5000K? For example, with filters or by other means?

The American DJ Encore FR50Z 50W LED Fresnel has fixed color temperature of 3000K which is Warm-White Beam.

Can this light be mounted on a light stand/C-stand anyway or must it be hung off grid? Thanks

You can use the American DJ Encore FR50Z 50W LED Fresnel on a light stand/C-stand directly. It cannot attach to a C-stand arm, and you will need an adapter like B&H # IMCA116P (https://bhpho.to/3YSHKOg).
