The Manfrotto Carbon Fiber Boom Pole for VR Camera (Large) does not have an adjustable head to angle your camera downward. For adjustments, you can attach a 1/4"-20 screw ball head.

Is the large VR Pole stable and safe to use (up to its weight capacity) without the Manfrotto Carbon Fiber VR Tripod?
The Manfrotto Carbon Fiber Boom Pole for VR Camera (Large) will work great with any camera within the 4.4lb weight limit, and will provide a safe and stable support. The pole will need to be held by the user, but you have access for further support accessory attachment via the 1/4"-20 thread at the bottom of the pole.

Is there a kit or clamp to attach this to a tripod? Can you extend it further by adding a smaller Manfrotto pole?
